Two minibuses and a car all loaded with kids, parents, full timers and food, departed the CJC car park early last Friday heading for Venray, Holland. With 20 fighters in total it promised to be an action packed weekend.

Welsh national title for CJC player

The Welsh Closed Championships took place in Cardiff on the 7th of June, CJC’s David Saran won gold and gained the welsh national title on Saturday at the Cadet U60kg category.

Bronze for Livesey at London British Open

Over 320 judoka were in action at K2, Crawley, with 29 countries represented in the two-day long event. Camberley Judo Club fielded 12 athletes from the Elite team with high hopes for several rostrum finishes.
