Junior club gradings

Club Gradings

As a member of the British Judo Association Camberley Judo Club follows the new technical grading scheme for both junior and senior members. Our qualified coaches will ensure that all aspects of the syllabus are taught before judoka are assessed for promotion. Click here to view the BJA mon grade junior syllabus.
Camberley Judo Club holds 3 Grading days per year, they run from 9am to 12pm and include a combined Judo class for all beginner, intermediate and advanced juniors run by Vince and Natalie. There will also be some fun mock contest fights and the grading assessments. The grading days are a great opportunity to have the juniors from all classes on the mat working together, with both junior coaches.
All juniors are encouraged to attend all 3 grading days.
In exceptional circumstances some juniors may be graded more than 3 times per year, this will down to the coach’s discretion.
Any questions please speak to either Vince or Natalie
