After 6 months off the mat recovering from major surgery on his elbow, CJC’s Danny Williams -73kg is back on form. He travelled to San Salvador with team mates Nathon Burns and Matthew Clempner to the Pan American Open. He won 3 contests to progress into the semi-final including beating the highly ranked Ghanian Nartey.

Surrey Youth Games 2013
With a huge entry from Camberley Judo Club it seemed like the Surrey Heath team was Camberley Judo Club this year! 24 fighters took part and 23 won medals (the 1 player without a medal had to withdraw due to concussion!). Here are some SYG facts to show the progress over the last few years:
TK wins bronze medal at Venray International!
Venray International- 8th & 9th June 2013 Camberley Judo Club Juniors and parents were all in good spirits as they boarded the mini buses early Friday morning to head out to Holland for the Venray International Judo Tournament. For many this was their first experience of travelling abroad to compete and the excitement was tangible.
CJC ELITE TEAM UPDATE
A busy and successful month for our athletes has seen them travel literally around Europe and the World competing. The British Open at K2 Crawley was a tough weekend for the Camberley Elite Team with success mostly coming from the older more experienced fighters. NATHON BURNS CELEBRATES MARS MILK FUND AWARD
Judo player Nathon Burns, based in Camberley, is celebrating after receiving a £300 donation from the MARS Milk Fund. Nathon, who lives and trains full time at Camberly Judo club, is preparing for the Glasgow 2014 Commonwealth Games and Rio 2016 Olympic Games. As he is not a funded athlete, Nathon has to pay to
